About Paul Lewis

I help brands create better shopping experiences through simplicity of design and an understanding of consumer behaviour honed through years of retail and digital experience.

I started my career in bricks and mortar, but went digital early, my first site launching in 1997. There is a lot of arcane digital jargon, used by business consultants to justify high fees, which in my opinion often obscures real knowledge and experience. The essence of my work is to help businesses generate and then satisfy consumer desire.

I deliver on-brand, commercially effective and highly usable digital experiences. My background as a fashion retailer means commercial realism and creative thinking work hand-in-hand together.

Whether discussing strategy, look & feel or user interface, my focus is always on improving consumer experience and increasing engagement, conversion and retention.

After creating and selling my own agency “Lewis Creative Commerce”, I now operate as an independent consultant helping retailers and brands, large and small, realise their creative and commercial ambitions.
